Dr. Sebastian Kamm

Prior to joining Chatham Partners LLP, from 2012 until 2015 Sebastian Kamm worked in the Düsseldorf office of the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP and advised on corporate law/M&A, and afterwards joined a well-reputable law firm in Hamburg and advising clients in the field of corporate law. Sebastian studied law at the Universities of Heidelberg and Münster, followed by his legal traineeship including stages in the Düsseldorf office of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (corporate law/M&A), at an American law firm in New York City and at the Supreme Court of the State of New York, Appellate Division, First Department. At Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, Sebastian advised in particular publicly traded companies and private equity investors on cross-border acquisitions and divestments, joint ventures and on corporate housekeeping matters.

A further area of his interest is stock corporation law, in which he gained deeper knowledge in the course of his doctor thesis “The special audit pursuant to sections 15 et seqq. German Stock Corporation Act”.
