Ajla Sophie Deichmann, LL.M. (Bristol)
Ajla Sophie Deichmann, LL.M. (Bristol) advises national and international clients on energy law. A particular focus of her work is on project developments in the field of renewable energies, especially offshore and onshore wind, solar, geothermal energy and storage solutions.
In addition to permitting questions, Ajla Deichmann advises on regulatory issues. She also focuses on the drafting of contracts covering the entire project cycle (in particular PPAs and other energy supply contracts). Ajla Deichmann represents her clients in day-to-day business operations as well as in administrative and court proceedings.
Ajla Deichmann studied law at the University of Muenster and Bordeaux University, where she also completed a course in Anglo-American law. Additionally, she obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in international law at the University of the West of England in Bristol. As part of her legal training, she worked, inter alia, for the Permanent Mission of the Federal Republic of Germany to the United Nations in New York, Chatham Partners and major international law firms.
Ajla Deichmann is fluent in French.
