Dr. Lennart Marquard
Lennart Marquard advises on project developments and transactions in real estate and energy law, with a focus on public law issues. His expertise lies in particular in the areas of construction law and environmental and planning law. He supports clients in all stages of administrative and court proceedings.
Lennart studied law at the Georg August University in Göttingen and at the Universitat de València in Spain. He then worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Public Law, in particular Administrative Law, in Göttingen and in a law firm in Hamburg in the field of public construction law. Lennart Marquard obtained his doctorate with a thesis on the “Limits to Power and Capacity of Administrative Jurisdiction.”
He spent his legal training at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court in Hamburg, with stages at the Administrative Court, the Environmental Authority, the legal department of a company in the energy sector, and a large international law firm focusing on environmental and planning law.
