Marco Weibrecht advises national and international banks, institutional investors, project companies and sponsors on all aspects of (project) financing. Marco's focus is on renewable energy projects, in particular wind and solar, as well as real estate projects, in particular logistics centers. In addition to advising on traditional financing, his field of activity also includes the advise on mezzanine financings.

Before joining Chatham Partners, Marco worked for over six years as a lawyer at the Hamburg office of Hogan Lovells in the finance department, with a focus on the financing of renewable energy projects.

Marco studied law at the universities of Jena, Frankfurt/Oder and Hamburg and obtained an LL.M. in International Trade law at the University of Stellenbosch (South Africa).
