Dr. Solveig Gasche

Solveig Gasche advises energy utilities, investors and project developers in energy industry law with a focus on project development (offshore wind, solar, geothermal, biomass, hydrogen, storage solutions, real estate projects, pipelines).

Her expertise lies in providing advice on the interface of public commercial law and private law covering the full project life cycle. In addition, she advises her clients regarding regulatory issues of public infrastructure such as grid access and usage and tenders for renewable energies. Solveig Gasche provides support with ongoing project developments, in coordinating with the authorities involved and in administrative and judicial proceedings.

Solveig studied law at the University of Hamburg, the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the Universidade Lisboa, Portugal. Subsequently she completed her doctorate on the topic of ‘Regulatory Challenges of International Trade in Raw Materials – The Governance Concept of Responsible Trading’. During her doctorate, she taught and researched at the Institute of Maritime Law and International Law of the Sea at the University of Hamburg. Her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg included stages at the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency, a foreign trade law and product liability department of a Hamburg law firm, the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action.
