Jochen Wilkens – Further addition to our team

As of 1 September 2022, Jochen Wilkens will join Chatham as a partner. Jochen will set up a comprehensive financing and restructuring practice in order to synergistically round out Chatham Partners’ legal advisory services for existing clients as well as to win new client relationships for the firm through his proven expertise. Since 2004, Jochen Wilkens has worked as a lawyer in the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, first in Hamburg and then in London. From 2011, he continued his advisory work as a partner at Freshfields’ Frankfurt office in the practice group for Finance and took over the leadership of the restructuring team there. Jochen states: “After many years of working in a large international commercial law firm, I am very much looking forward to the new working environment and, in particular, to the opportunity of growing a successful financing practice at Chatham and establishing it as an integral part of the portfolio.”
