Christian Hopf studied law in Kiel. During his time as a research fellow at the Kiel Institute for Business and Tax Law, he dealt in particular with questions of European antitrust law. He completed his legal clerkship in Kiel, Schleswig and Munich, including stages at the administrative court of Schleswig-Holstein and two commercial law firms. There, Christian Hopf gained practical experience in public construction law as well as in contract design and project-related legal advice. At Chatham Partners, Christian Hopf advises on real estate and renewable energy projects.
