Malte Bever

Malte Bever advises national and international clients on M&A and other corporate transactions. He assists on the establishment and structuring of joint ventures, on general corporate matters, as well as companies during their start-up phase.

Malte has in-depth knowledge of the energy sector and has advanced expertise in the acquisition, divestment and development of renewable energy projects, such as solar, wind and geothermal projects. He advises on all legal issues that his clients face when acquiring, divesting or developing projects in the energy sector.

Prior to joining Chatham Partners, Malte worked for more than 5 years as a lawyer at the Hamburg office of Hogan Lovells in the Corporate/M&A department with a focus on the energy and real estate sector. Malte studied law at the Georg-August-University of Göttingen and completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Celle. During his legal clerkship, Malte worked, among others, for the Lower Saxony Ministry of Economics, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Hamburg and Hogan Lovells in Hamburg and London.
