Paula Schrage, LL.M. (UConn)

Paula Schrage advises national and international clients, as well as public authorities, on all matters relating to EU law, special administrative law—including public commercial law—and constitutional law. Her practice focuses in particular on German and EU antitrust law, as well as public procurement and state aid law. She supports her clients by preparing legal opinions on the drafting of public contracts and related issues, and by representing them in administrative and court proceedings.

Paula Schrage studied law at the University of Münster and the Université des Antilles in Martinique, France. After completing her degree, she earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Connecticut in the USA. She then worked as a research assistant at a major international law firm in Hamburg, specializing in antitrust and investment control law.

She completed her legal training at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court in Hamburg, with placements at the Permanent Mission of Germany to the United Nations in Vienna, an international law firm specializing in antitrust law, the Hamburg Port Authority, and Chatham Partners.
