Sophie von Korff

Sophie von Korff is a senior member in the Chatham Partners Energy Team and advises national and international clients on various projects in the energy sector. Her particular focus is on project development of heat, solar, wind, hydrogen and geothermal projects.

In addition, Sophie is specialised in PPP infrastructure projects. She accompanies clients during tender procedures and construction phases concerning questions of civil and public law.

Before joining Chatham Partners in 2016, Sophie worked in the corporate finance/debt advisory group at the private bank M.M. Warburg & Co in Hamburg where she advised corporations on the structuring of financings which frequently involved loan, promissory note and bond components.

Sophie von Korff studied law in Freiburg, Uppsala (Sweden) and at the Humboldt University in Berlin. Her legal clerkship in Frankfurt/Main included stages at the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP and with Deutsche Bank AG.
