A look back on our evening event for young lawyers on the topic “Energy Crisis – What Now?”
Thrilling insights into the work of lawyers in the field of renewable energy and lively discussions over sushi and wine
The current energy crisis has become an integral part of everyday life: Consumers and companies are concerned about their next heating bill, tips on how to save energy are circulating in the media, and the German government is introducing support measures. At the same time, we are faced with many questions: Do we now reverse the coal and nuclear phase-out? What measures are needed to ensure that the very acute energy crisis is not only averted, but also that no such scenario occurs again? And what role do energy lawyers at Chatham Partners play in all these issues?
These were the topics we delt with at our evening for young lawyers last week. Felix Fischer, founding partner of Chatham Partners and Head of our Energy Practice Group, Marieke Lüdecke, Senior Associate in the practice group, and Ajla Deichmann, Associate in the practice group, spoke on the key role of renewable energies, major challenges with regard to the energy market, and the daily advisory practice in the energy team. As always, the evening was topped off by a relaxed get-together with sushi and drinks.
We are glad that so many of you came and thank you for the great evening. The next trainee event is already underway!
