Felix Fischer gives insights from German zoning at WFO event
In past week’s webinar by the WORLD FORUM OFFSHORE WIND e.V. (WFO) on “Offshore Wind Development Challenges” our partner Felix Fischer discussed challenges and opportunities of finding sufficient space for offshore wind in the German Exclusive Economic Zone.
He outlined the need for co-utilisation of spaces and cross-border coordination in order to ensure a sustainable roll-out, especially in light of cumulative effects related to the increasing offshore build-out in densely used areas.
In the webinar, David Carrascosa from Saitec and Yuka Toma and Masahiro Yoshida from Renova also showcased development challenges their development projects were facing.
